Painted Commission Terms & Conditions

1. Painted Products

Dungeon Master Minis sells hand-painted resin collectibles and painted commissions. Products may be painted after an order is placed or may be offered as completed, ready-to-ship pieces.

Painted products are handmade display collectibles and may contain small, delicate, removable, magnetized, illuminated, or separately packaged parts.

2. Order Acceptance

All orders are subject to acceptance by Dungeon Master Minis. Dungeon Master Minis may decline or cancel an order before production begins.

If Dungeon Master Minis cancels an order before production begins, any amount paid for that canceled order will be returned to the original payment method.

3. Production Queue and Completion Times

Painted work is completed according to the current production queue, studio capacity, project complexity, material availability, and the amount of work required for each piece.

Each painted piece generally requires approximately 2–3 weeks of active studio time once it reaches the front of the production queue. Larger, more complex, or highly detailed projects may require additional time.

By placing an order, the customer understands that painted commissions are pre-order, made-to-order items and are not ready for immediate shipment. Orders will be completed when the work is finished, and no specific completion or delivery date is guaranteed.

Delays caused by curing time, equipment failure, supply shortages, illness, weather, or other circumstances outside reasonable control do not create a right to cancellation or refund.

4. Paint Instructions

Customers are responsible for submitting complete paint instructions, reference images, color requests, and other preferences before painting begins.

Once painting has begun, Dungeon Master Minis is not required to accept changes, redesigns, color changes, or additional requests.

Changes accepted after work has begun may require additional payment and may extend the completion time.

If no instructions are provided, Dungeon Master Minis may complete the product using reasonable artistic discretion.

5. Artistic Interpretation

Every painted product is completed by hand. Differences in color, shading, highlighting, blending, finish, brushwork, placement, texture, and other artistic details are normal.

Product photos, digital renders, reference images, and photographs of previous work are examples only. Exact duplication is not guaranteed.

Colors may appear different because of lighting, photography, screen settings, or display conditions. Minor imperfections or differences that do not materially affect the display or intended use of the product are not considered defects.

6. Customer Approval

Dungeon Master Minis may provide completion photographs before shipment but is not required to do so unless agreed in writing.

If approval photographs are provided and the customer does not respond within 48 hours, the product may be considered approved and shipped.

Customers are responsible for maintaining a valid email address and reviewing order-related messages, including spam or junk folders.

7. All Sales Final

All sales are final unless otherwise required by applicable law.

8. Shipping Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.

Additional shipping, carrier, customs, storage, return-to-sender, address correction, redirection, or reshipping fees resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address, refused delivery, failure to retrieve a shipment, or other customer-caused delivery issue are the responsibility of the customer.

Refusing delivery or allowing a shipment to be returned to sender does not cancel the order or create a right to a refund.

9. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks

Customers should contact Dungeon Master Minis before initiating a payment dispute so the issue can be reviewed and a reasonable resolution can be attempted.

Dungeon Master Minis may contest payment disputes using order records, production records, photographs, shipping records, tracking information, customer communications, and checkout acceptance records.

Improper use of a chargeback does not cancel the customer’s obligations under these terms. Dungeon Master Minis reserves all rights and remedies available under applicable law.

10. Refusal of Service

Dungeon Master Minis may refuse or discontinue service because of harassment, threats, fraud, abusive conduct, repeated policy violations, or misuse of payment disputes.

Refusal of future service does not create a right to a refund for an existing completed or in-production order unless required by applicable law.

11. Product Images and Portfolio Use

Dungeon Master Minis may photograph completed work and use those photographs for portfolio, website, social media, advertising, documentation, or dispute-resolution purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.

12. Policy Updates

Dungeon Master Minis may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The version in effect when the order was placed will govern that order.

13. Applicable Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any consumer right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

14. Agreement

By placing an order, completing checkout, or accepting delivery, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
