Garage Kit Terms & Conditions
By purchasing a garage kit, resin model, miniature, statue, collectible, or made-to-order product from Dungeon Master Minis, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following Terms & Conditions prior to checkout.
Made-to-Order Products
All products are made to order unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Production timelines are estimates only and may vary due to:
- Queue volume
- Print failures
- Material shortages
- Supplier delays
- Equipment maintenance
- Holidays
- Order complexity
- Other production-related circumstances
Estimated delivery dates shown by Shopify, Shop Pay, Shop App, or third-party services are estimates only and are not guaranteed shipping or delivery dates.
Product Nature & Hobby Disclaimer
Garage kits and resin products are hobby items that may require assembly, sanding, filling, trimming, pinning, priming, or additional preparation before painting or display.
Minor imperfections may exist and are considered normal to the hobby, including but not limited to:
- Layer lines
- Support marks
- Sanding marks
- Seam lines
- Minor pinholes
- Small surface blemishes
- Part separations during shipping
These are not considered defects.
Customers purchasing unassembled or partially assembled kits acknowledge that hobby experience and additional cleanup may be required.
Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for:
- Reviewing all product descriptions, dimensions, and selected options before purchase
- Ensuring billing and shipping information is accurate
- Monitoring email updates regarding order status
- Checking spam or junk folders for communication
- Contacting Dungeon Master Minis directly regarding any issue before escalating disputes
Failure to read product descriptions, processing timelines, or policy pages does not void these Terms & Conditions.
Contact Us First Requirement
If there is any issue with an order, including:
- Delays
- Damaged items
- Missing parts
- Incorrect items
- Shipping concerns
- Product concerns
Customers agree to contact Dungeon Master Minis directly before initiating a payment dispute, chargeback, or claim with their bank or payment provider.
Most issues can typically be resolved through direct communication.
Customers agree to allow reasonable time for investigation and resolution prior to escalating disputes externally.
Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
Customers retain the legal right to file a chargeback or payment dispute for legitimate cases of fraud or unresolved failure to deliver purchased goods.
However, by placing an order, customers agree that chargebacks may not be used to avoid clearly disclosed policies, including:
- Cancellation fees
- Restocking fees
- Material usage fees
- Production costs
- Return shipping costs
- Other agreed-upon checkout terms
Customers acknowledge that chargebacks generate non-refundable fees and administrative costs to the business regardless of dispute outcome.
If a chargeback is filed improperly, fraudulently, or solely to avoid agreed-upon policies or fees, Dungeon Master Minis reserves the right to:
- Contest the dispute with supporting evidence including production records, checkout agreements, tracking information, and customer communications
- Recover associated chargeback fees, administrative costs, and damages where legally permitted
- Refuse future service
- Cancel open orders
- Pursue recovery through small claims court or other legal remedies for qualifying orders where permitted by law
Returns, Refunds & Cancellations
Customers must contact Dungeon Master Minis regarding any issue within 30 days of delivery.
Return requests may be considered up to 90 days from the delivery date solely at the discretion of Dungeon Master Minis.
Because products are made to order, any order that has entered production is subject to a 30% restocking and material usage fee if approved for cancellation or return.
Orders that have not entered production may still be subject to payment processing fees or non-recoverable costs.
The following items are non-refundable and non-returnable:
- Painted orders
- Custom commissions
- Personalized items
- Modified products
- Customer-requested alterations
- Digital products or downloads
- Fully assembled custom requests once production has begun
Returns or refunds will not be issued for:
- Minor surface imperfections normal to resin printing
- Customer remorse
- Assembly difficulty
- Failure to read descriptions
- Incorrect assumptions about size or finish
- Delays within reasonable production timelines
- Damage caused during customer assembly or handling
Approved returns must be shipped back in original or equivalent protective packaging.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the issue resulted from a verified fulfillment error by Dungeon Master Minis.
Shipping Damage Claims
If an item arrives damaged, customers must contact Dungeon Master Minis within 30 days of delivery and provide:
- Photos of the damaged item
- Photos of all packaging materials
- Photos of the shipping box exterior
Packaging materials must be retained until the claim is resolved. Shipping carriers may deny claims without packaging documentation.
Dungeon Master Minis reserves the right to determine whether replacement parts, partial replacement, repair assistance, or claim filing is the appropriate resolution.
Shipping & Delivery
Customers are responsible for ensuring shipping information is accurate at checkout.
Dungeon Master Minis is not responsible for delays caused by:
- Shipping carriers
- Customs processing
- Weather
- Holidays
- Incorrect customer information
- Carrier misdelivery
- International import procedures
Customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees required by their country.
Refusal of Service
Dungeon Master Minis reserves the right to refuse or cancel service for:
- Harassment or abusive behavior
- Fraudulent activity
- Repeated policy violations
- Improper chargebacks
- Threats toward staff or business operations
Policy Updates
Dungeon Master Minis reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. The version active at the time of purchase shall govern the transaction.
