Custom STL & Digital Designs
Bring your character, creature, or completely unhinged idea to life with a fully custom-designed STL, digital sculpt, miniature, statue, bust, or collectible created specifically for you.
Every project is sculpted from scratch using your references, concepts, and requested style. Whether you have polished character sheets, rough sketches, or blurry screenshots saved from a 3AM doomscroll session, we’ll review your idea and see if it’s a good fit for our artist and workflow.
Need the final piece professionally printed too? We can also produce physical resin prints of completed designs at an additional cost.
We specialize in collectibles and display pieces — not functional props, engineered parts, or mechanical designs.
Fan art requests are reviewed case-by-case:
- If it sounds fun, we’ll probably consider it.
- If it sounds like Al Pacino is about to offer Keanu Reeves a contract in a skyscraper boardroom, we’ll politely pass.
Pricing, Deposits & Payments
Projects start around $50 for basic 32mm concepts. Larger and more detailed projects cost more — for example, a 1:6 scale statue can start around €600+ depending on complexity and scope.
- A $50 deposit is required before quoting begins.
- If your project is accepted, the deposit becomes non-refundable and applies toward your final balance.
- If we decline the project, the deposit is fully refunded.
- Payments are processed in euros through our European-based artist.
Payment options:
- Pay in full upfront, or
- Pay 50% upfront and 50% when files are completed.
Design Approval & Revisions
Please review all concepts and previews carefully before approval.
We are not mind readers. We may use generative AI tools alongside artist interpretation during the concept phase. If something feels off, missing, or not the vibe you imagined, tell us before approving the design.
Important notes:
- Approved concepts are treated as final direction approval.
- Major changes after approval may require additional charges and timeline adjustments.
- Clear references and detailed descriptions help avoid delays and misunderstandings.
- Do not assume we will automatically add missing details, accessories, symbols, weapons, or design elements that are not shown or clearly communicated in the concept phase.
- Some artistic adjustments may be needed to make designs printable as 3D models.
- Extremely vague requests like “just make it cool” may produce exactly the chaos you’d expect.
Revisions
- Minor concept edits may be included.
- Major redesigns, pose swaps, outfit changes, or additional accessories requested after the concept is approved will require additional charges.
File Usage & Printing
- All custom designs are for personal use only unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
- By default, Dungeon Master Minis reserves the right to sell physical printed copies of completed custom designs.
- Customers may optionally purchase exclusive ownership rights to prevent future physical print sales of their commissioned design.
- Commercial usage rights are not included by default and must be purchased separately through a written agreement.
- Files are licensed only to the original purchaser and may not be resold, redistributed, or shared through unauthorized sources unless commercial rights have been purchased in writing.
- Digital STL files themselves will never be resold or redistributed by Dungeon Master Minis unless specifically authorized by the customer.
