General Sizing & Scale Information

From tabletop miniatures to oversized display statues, scale can vary heavily depending on the sculptor, style, and intended use of the model. Below is a general breakdown of the most common sizing formats used throughout the hobby.

Note About Miniature Scaling:

Miniature scaling across the hobby is wildly inconsistent. One sculptor’s “32mm” may look oversized and heroic, while another’s may lean closer to true scale proportions.

We print models at the original scale provided by the designer, so slight size differences between creators are completely normal. In other words: tabletop scaling is organized chaos, and we’re all just pretending it makes sense.

🛡️ Miniatures (Tabletop Scale)

28–35mm Scale

Standard tabletop miniature sizing commonly used for games like D&D, Pathfinder, and other TTRPGs. Typically fits 1x1 dungeon tiles (~1 inch).

75mm Scale

Display-first miniatures with significantly more detail and larger surface areas for painting. These are often collected or painted as showcase pieces rather than used for standard gameplay.

Typical Tile Footprints

Creature Size 32mm Scale 75mm Scale
Medium 1x1 3x3
Large 2x2 4x4
Huge 3x3 5x5
Gargantuan 4x4+ Large display bases

🗿 Statues, Busts & Chibis

Display collectibles are commonly offered in 1:4, 1:6, 1:7, 1:8, 1:9, 1:10, and 1:12 scales. Final statue size depends on the character’s “real” height in their franchise, so characters in the same scale can still vary in height. For example, a 6-foot (72-inch) character at 1:6 scale would stand around 12 inches tall (72 ÷ 6 = 12), while a 5-foot (60-inch) character at 1:6 scale would stand closer to 10 inches tall (60 ÷ 6 = 10). Bases, poses, weapons, wings, and effects can also increase the final display size. Please check the individual product listing for exact dimensions whenever provided by the designer.

Here are some examples of a 6-foot (72-inch) character in various scales (not including the display base or oversized effects/accessories):

  • 1:4 Scale → approximately 18 inches tall
  • 1:6 Scale → approximately 12 inches tall
  • 1:7 Scale → approximately 10.3 inches tall
  • 1:8 Scale → approximately 9 inches tall
  • 1:9 Scale → approximately 8 inches tall
  • 1:10 Scale → approximately 7.2 inches tall
  • 1:12 Scale → approximately 6 inches tall

    Busts

Torso-focused display pieces featuring the head, shoulders, and upper chest. Designed primarily for painting and display rather than gameplay. Most busts are sculpted in the same scale as their full-body statue counterparts, while miniature busts are typically based around 1:12 scale sizing.

    Chibis

Stylized collectible figures with oversized heads and exaggerated proportions, usually around 3–5 inches tall. Tiny gremlins with shelf presence.

Specific dimensions for each model are listed directly on the product page whenever available.
