It's been a while.. December

It’s been a while since I’ve posted a blog, but there’s so much to share! We’ve made some exciting changes to the website’s landing page, and it’s been great to see those updates boosting our store’s popularity. Since making the transition from Etsy in July—and with a little help from the holidays—we’ve just wrapped up our busiest month in ages. To everyone who’s supported the shop, thank you from the bottom of my heart!

With most of the listings squared away, I’ve finally had time to get back to what I love: printing and painting miniatures. The paint commission queue is no joke (13 strong as of this writing), but I’m confident I can meet the two-week lead time I advertise. It’s been busy, but incredibly fulfilling to dive back into the craft.

One thing I’ve noticed is how trends have shifted since moving away from Etsy. On that platform, tabletop miniatures always took the spotlight, with pop culture pieces (anime, video games, movies, etc.) playing second fiddle. Now that I’ve stepped into my own space and let Google’s algorithms work their magic, it’s clear that pop culture minis are stealing the show—especially the painted ones. Honestly, I’m loving every moment. Painting these pieces has helped me grow in skill, and it’s amazing to see how far I’ve come with each completed commission.

Of course, with growth comes tough decisions. Some designers’ products haven’t been performing as well, and I’ll be phasing those out by the end of the month to focus more on what customers are loving. It’s all part of adapting and ensuring the shop keeps growing in the right direction.

Balancing this journey with a second job has meant long days and late nights, but I couldn’t be happier. Navigating, planning, and fulfilling orders while sharing my craft with you all makes every moment worth it.

Thank you for being part of this adventure—I couldn’t do it without you. Here’s to a bright and creative new year ahead!

Happy gaming,

Raphael
